Line and Shape
What locations and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photos?
I shot my photos as different stores at Thayer Street in Providence
Describe the photos you took:
For my first photo I took a picture of the various different types of shoes on display. This was at Sneaker Junkies. For the second photo I took a picture of the outside of Urban Outfitters. For my third photo, it was on the inside of urban outfitters. For photo number 4, I took a picture of berks shoes. For my fifth one, a picture of the Brown Library, and the same for my 6th picture.
What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
In all photos I am about 5-10 feet away, but for the second one I am pretty far away.
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)
All of these photos were from the side, or straight on.
Are your photographs horizontal or vertical?
All of these photos were taken horizontally.
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe.
Not really, for the Berk's shoes photo I somewhat did but other than that not really.
Which one of of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work?
The picture of the different shoes, because it makes the viewers eye travel around the image and look at all of the different types of shoes.

I was about a foot to 2 feet away from the flowers
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)
My point of view was from the side of the flowers
Is your photograph horizontal or vertical?
The photograph is horizontal.
Does this photo follow the rule of thirds? Why or why not?
No because there is flowers across the whole image.
(Describe). Is this photo an example of pattern, texture and/or rhythm? Explain
Yes, this is an example of all three because the flowers are in pattern, you can see the texture of the flowers through the different shades of grey, and there is rhythm.
